Types of Mindful Art
Mindful art can be a part of your daily meditation practice or once a year special event. It can include a drawing or painting journal, a piece of art created for a particular mindset or can be a way to connect your imagination to your body and allows the expression of feelings that you may struggle to express in words.
Mindful art can also communicate a mantra, affirmation, or goal back to yourself. Positive statements that help you challenge and overcome negative self-sabotaging thoughts. What is something meaningful to you at the moment and what’s the positive message you need reinforced?
Art can be a vehicle for meditation, insight, and a connection to self.
